Yet another fabulous writing challenge!

My fellow Australian and former Melburnian, Nichola Scurry, has come up with a writing prompt that I wish had thought of!! It seems such a logical one too, given my love for good music and good food!

Here is the prompt: What are your favourite songs that mention or are about food?

14 Foodie Songs to Whet Your Appetite

I was thrilled to be tagged by Nichola for this writing prompt. My mind immediately went racing, scanning all corners of the brain for connections between music and food.

Believe it or not, the first food song that popped into my head was Fruit Salad by The Wiggles. I’m not really sure why. Stranger things have happened though. I pulled up the video on YouTube, but about 20 seconds in I wanted to stick knitting needles in my ears and gouge my eyes out with a spoon. I will not subject any of you to this song.
