Manic depression is a standout for me too, as is the title track. The Wind Cries Mary is my personal favourite. Not enough attention/recognition/praise was given to his voice or his songwriting.
Hendrix will always be the number one “what would he have been like if he didn’t die” subject. Would he have made another 20 albums? Would he be playing the same three songs in a Vegas dive six nights a week?
