My Favourite Album From Every Year I’ve Been Alive (Part Three: 1989–1998)
The wonder years. I’m so glad I lived through this!

A lot happened in this ten-year period. I completed a degree, did some post-grad study, moved interstate for a job, met some wonderful people and did some incredible things, met the love of my life, and got engaged.
So much amazing music was released during this particular time frame and I was totally immersed in it. I bought countless records and CDs. I also went to hundreds of shows, from mega festivals to watching a favourite band play to just ten people in a tiny club.
Each of the decades of my life has featured brilliant music that means a lot to me for multiple reasons. However, I think the early to mid-1990s period was the best. The great albums just kept coming! It was so overwhelming, I missed a bunch of things at the time, and am still discovering albums to this day.
