Upon Us All, A Little Rain Must Fall

My contribution to the Rain Songs challenge

I did not realise just how many songs there are about rain and storms until I endured a two-and-a-half-hour rain delay at a Canberra Cavalry baseball game. Our ground announcer just kept bringing the hits, you know, the common ones such as Have You Ever Seen The Rain, Riders On The Storm, November Rain, It’s Raining Again. He filled that void with dozens of songs, and I’m sure his list was extensive. And that playlist did keep the remaining fans entertained as they tried to guess what would be played next!

Paul Combs recently put out a challenge for us to bring together some great rain songs. Here is his post:

Paul explained that the challenge is simple: choose some great songs about rain (that includes songs about storms, thunder, lightning, etc.).

Sounds pretty straightforward. However, Paul did say it will be interesting to see who claims which songs first!
